Electrical Foreman

Automationtechies is in search of an experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee teams on industrial electrical assignments. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring that tasks are performed effectively and in accordance with both company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, organize, and lead the work of electrical crew members.
  • Recruit, train, and inspire team members while enforcing company guidelines as necessary.
  • Analyze and comprehend project plans, specifications, and contractual obligations.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and provide timely updates.
  • Track project progress and create RFIs and other necessary documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to National Electrical Codes and safety regulations.
  • Oversee tool management, procure materials, and maintain an orderly work environment.
  • Authorize and monitor employee work hours and performance metrics.

Qualifications for Success

  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role as an Industrial Foreman.
  • NCCER certification or Electrician State License is advantageous.
  • Capability to pass a DISA drug/alcohol screening.
  • Familiarity with NEC, OSHA, and L.O.T.O regulations.
  • Expertise in installing and troubleshooting PLCs, AC/DC drives, motors, and control systems.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Experience with bending and installing conduit, wiring, and electrical apparatus.
  • Knowledge of single and three-phase motors and their control systems.
  • Strong leadership and effective communication skills.

Note: The annual base salary range for this position is provided as a guideline. The final salary offer will be based on factors such as work experience, education/training, key skills, and other relevant considerations.
