The Superintendent plays a crucial role in overseeing the performance of field personnel across various projects, which may encompass fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, portable equipment, KEC, or other departments within the organization. This position involves coordinating the efforts of different teams engaged in a project, ensuring that our field staff are supported and that client expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with project management teams to confirm the accuracy of project designs prior to the commencement of work.
  • Managing the procurement and scheduling of all necessary equipment for the project.
  • Serving as the primary communication link between field operations and the office.
  • Overseeing work schedules and timekeeping for all field personnel.
  • Providing guidance and leadership to on-site teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitoring project advancement to guarantee deadlines are achieved.
  • Reporting on completed work in a precise and timely manner.
  • Safeguarding and maintaining company assets.
  • Inspecting and maintaining vehicles and related equipment, submitting repair requests as needed to ensure safe operation.
  • Operating warehouse equipment, including vehicles, in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer instructions.
  • Following safety procedures as outlined by the company, including those related to driving and personal protective equipment.
  • Responding to emergency service requests.
  • Maintaining a tidy and secure work environment.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
  • A clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including potential evening, weekend, and out-of-town assignments.
  • Knowledge of life safety principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with codes and regulations relevant to the work.
  • Ability to review official documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Skill in identifying and reporting discrepancies through inspection processes.
  • Capability to interpret, apply, and explain applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Compliance with the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Performing other duties as required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and occasionally lift or move heavy objects.
  • The role requires physical abilities such as balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, and visual acuity.
