The Superintendent plays a crucial role in overseeing the performance of field personnel across various projects, which may include fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, portable equipment, KEC, or other divisions within the organization. This position involves coordinating the efforts of multiple departments engaged in a project, ensuring that our field teams are supported and our clients' expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with project management teams to confirm the accuracy of project designs prior to commencement.
  • Managing the procurement and scheduling of all necessary equipment for the project.
  • Serving as the primary communication link between field operations and the office.
  • Overseeing work schedules and timekeeping for all field personnel.
  • Providing leadership to on-site teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Addressing and resolving client concerns effectively.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols.
  • Monitoring project advancement to guarantee timely completion.
  • Reporting on completed work accurately and promptly.
  • Safeguarding and maintaining company assets.
  • Inspecting and servicing vehicles and equipment, submitting repair requests as needed to ensure safe operation.
  • Operating warehouse machinery, including vehicles, to facilitate loading and unloading while adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Following safety procedures as outlined by the company, including driver safety and the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Responding to emergency service requests.
  • Maintaining a tidy and secure work environment.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively and independently.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including potential evening, weekend, and out-of-town assignments.
  • Knowledge of life safety principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Ability to review official documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Skill in identifying and reporting discrepancies through inspection processes.
  • Competence in interpreting and explaining relevant laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Compliance with the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Undertaking other duties as directed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands for handling, reach with arms, and occasionally lift or move heavy items.
  • The role demands physical abilities such as balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, and visual acuity.
