Our culture promotes individual growth and innovative thinking. We are currently in search of a seasoned full-time Civil Construction Supervisor to lead our Industrial projects.

Position Overview:

The Civil Construction Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing personnel, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and schedules throughout the execution of Civil Construction Projects. This role reports directly to the Site Superintendent or Construction Manager and collaborates with EHS, Survey, and QAQC departments. The Supervisor manages project timelines and budgets, interprets blueprints, conducts advanced layout, and coordinates work plans while directing teams engaged in formwork, anchor bolt layout, rebar tying, scaffolding construction, finish carpentry, screed setting, and concrete placement and finishing to successfully complete Civil Concrete Work Packages.

  • Train, manage, motivate, and evaluate team members to ensure optimal safety, effectiveness, quality of work, and professional development.
  • Prioritize health and safety within your team and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate the accurate and quality completion of all projects.
  • Develop and communicate production goals and specifications to your team and stakeholders to enhance worker effectiveness, adherence to schedules, and profitability.
  • Maintain excellent communication with other superintendents, project foremen, and construction teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Evaluate, manage, and procure necessary equipment and materials for construction projects.
  • Oversee manpower and equipment scheduling, dispatch, and transportation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality programs as mandated by the company and regulatory agencies to protect personnel, equipment, and the job site.
  • Manage timecards, equipment tracking, and production reporting for your projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Certifications in CPR, First Aid, Competent Person Training (Trench Safety & Fall Protection), and power actuated tool training.
  • Possession of TWIC and OSHA 30 certifications.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications; experienced in scheduling, cost management, and quality control practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and solve problems effectively.
  • Capability to thrive and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, employees are frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations. They may encounter various extreme conditions at construction sites, including high heat, humidity, cold, ice, snow, and rain. The noise level can be loud, and employees regularly work near moving mechanical parts and in outdoor conditions that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position requires lifting heavy objects, walking and standing for extended periods, and performing strenuous physical labor under challenging field conditions. Employees must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects; use abdominal and lower back muscles for support; and have good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination. The role requires the ability to move quickly and work on uneven, steep, slippery, wet, muddy, and inconsistent ground. Excellent stamina is essential.
