We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced Construction Project Supervisor to manage the development of infrastructure projects including roadways, bridges, and highways. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of structural engineering concepts, construction techniques, and effective project oversight. They will be accountable for ensuring that all structures are constructed to the utmost quality standards, adhering to budget constraints, and meeting designated timelines.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is intended to oversee various roadway construction and bridge initiatives in the surrounding regions. The ideal applicant should have several years of experience in a supervisory capacity within a dynamic work environment. Managing multiple construction projects with a high level of scheduling for specialized crews and equipment is essential. This Supervisor is tasked with ensuring the prompt completion of significant civil projects within the established budget. Responsibilities include planning project activities and directly supervising various foremen in the execution of all earthworks, roadway construction, bridges, and other related tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the entire construction process to guarantee that the project is executed in line with design specifications, budgetary limits, and timelines.
  • Engage with client representatives and other contractors as necessary.
  • Document any additional work, chargebacks to subcontractors, or delays caused by external factors.
  • Perform other related tasks as required by the position or as directed by management.
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
  • One (1) to four (4) years of relevant experience in the specified field (depending on the level of expertise).
  • Completion of a written pre-employment qualification assessment.
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screening and physical evaluation.
  • New Hire Orientation Quiz.
  • Applicants/employees must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of themselves or others in the workplace.
  • Adherence to job site safety protocols as mandated by the client (clean-shaven, long sleeves, steel-toed boots, etc.).
  • Utilization of safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.).
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Location: Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication facilities.
  • Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site:
    • Uneven terrain.
    • Obstructed pathways.
    • Work conducted at varying elevations.
    • Work performed in confined spaces.
  • Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site:
    • Primarily outdoor conditions.
    • Potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
    • High humidity, rain, etc.
    • Various noise levels from tools, machinery, and equipment.
    • Possible exposure to chemical substances.
