Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Liaise with project management teams to ensure that project designs are accurate before work commences.
  • Equipment Management: Order and schedule the delivery of all equipment needed for projects.
  • Communication: Act as the main point of communication between the main field and the office.
  • Staff Management: Manage the work schedules and timecards for all field staff.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership to on-site staff, sub-contractors, and other parties.
  • Customer Service: Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
  • Safety: Ensure that safety policies are strictly adhered to.
  • Project Progress: Review project progress to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Reporting: Report results of work completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Protect and maintain company equipment.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect and maintain the truck and all related equipment, putting in repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operation.
  • Warehouse Operations: Operate warehouse equipment, including vehicles, in a way that facilitates the loading and unloading of the truck while observing all safety regulations and manufacturer's safety instructions for that equipment.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency service calls.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: A high school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Industry Experience: Industry experience.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Troubleshooting skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
  • Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to/from the office or job site.
  • Scheduling: Must be flexible with scheduling requirements that occasionally will require evening, weekend and/or out-of-town assignments.
  • Knowledge: Requires the ability to display knowledge of principles and practices of life safety.
  • Codes and Regulations: Requires the ability to display knowledge of codes and regulations related to the work.
  • Document Review: Requires the ability to display knowledge of basic practices of reviewing official documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Inspection: Requires the ability to recognize and report deviations through inspection programs.
  • Laws and Regulations: Requires the ability to interpret, apply, and explain applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Requires the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Direction Following: Requires the ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Abilities: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.
  • Work Environment: The work also requires the following physical abilities in order to perform the essential job functions: balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity.
