The Superintendent plays a crucial role in overseeing the performance of field personnel across various projects, which may include fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, portable equipment, KEC, or other divisions within the organization. This position involves coordinating the efforts of multiple departments engaged in a project. Their supervision ensures that our field workforce is supported and that client expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with project management teams to confirm the accuracy of project designs prior to commencement.
  • Managing the procurement and scheduling of all necessary equipment for the project.
  • Serving as the primary communication link between field operations and the office.
  • Overseeing work schedules and timekeeping for all field personnel.
  • Providing leadership to on-site teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitoring project progress to guarantee timely completion.
  • Reporting work outcomes accurately and promptly.
  • Safeguarding and maintaining company equipment.
  • Inspecting and servicing the vehicle and related equipment, submitting repair requests as needed to ensure safe operation.
  • Operating warehouse machinery, including vehicles, in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Adhering to safety procedures while performing job functions, including driving safety and personal protective equipment usage.
  • Responding to emergency service requests.
  • Maintaining a tidy and secure work environment.
  • Executing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively and independently.
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including potential evening, weekend, and out-of-town assignments.
  • Knowledge of life safety principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Ability to review official documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Skill in identifying and reporting discrepancies through inspection processes.
  • Competence in interpreting and applying applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Compliance with the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands for handling or feeling, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and occasionally lift or move heavy objects.
  • The role also demands physical abilities such as balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, and visual acuity.
