Position Overview:

As a Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist with a focus on staff-level and executive recruitment within the asset management sector, your role is essential in sourcing, engaging, and securing exceptional candidates who are vital to our company’s growth and strategic objectives.

Your recruitment expertise, combined with insights into financial services, will be crucial in identifying, attracting, and onboarding elite talent.

This position is ideal for a seasoned recruiter in financial services who values building genuine, long-term relationships with both internal stakeholders and external candidates.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and department heads to understand hiring requirements, define role specifications, and develop effective recruitment strategies that align with our firm’s goals.
  • Conduct thorough sourcing research to identify both passive and active candidates, while recommending new resources to enhance candidate quality.
  • Lead and continuously refine the recruitment process utilizing Greenhouse (our applicant tracking system), incorporating industry best practices to deliver an outstanding experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Design and implement effective sourcing strategies, leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, financial services networks, and industry associations to proactively build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Conduct comprehensive interviews with candidates, assessing various factors regarding their qualifications to present to hiring managers.

Manage the recruitment process for assigned requisitions and client groups, which includes:

  • Working with business unit leaders to forecast, identify, and quantify hiring needs.
  • Assisting in the creation and proofreading of job descriptions.
  • Ensuring adherence to recruiting procedures and requisition processes.
  • Actively overseeing the interview process to maintain a healthy pace and sense of urgency, soliciting feedback from interviewers and providing timely updates to candidates.
  • Ensuring thorough follow-up throughout the process and maintaining all necessary documentation.

Collaborate with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process to create competitive offer packages by providing data-driven recommendations and identifying needs, salary ranges, incentives, and start dates.

Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Participate in human resources projects as assigned, taking ownership of specific processes or initiatives.

  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, enhancing our employer brand within the asset management community and attracting top-tier talent.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree; a relevant master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of talent acquisition experience, with recent experience in the financial services sector.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with senior-level candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is preferred; experience with Greenhouse is a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, asset management, and ETFs is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced industry.
