Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Specialist to support daily HR functions and ensure smooth and efficient operations across all areas of human resources at LHH.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist in the preparation and execution of payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments while resolving any payroll-related discrepancies.
  • Benefits Administration: Support the enrollment, maintenance, and communication of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness plans.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate new hire onboarding processes and manage offboarding for departing employees, including exit interviews and documentation.
  • Employee Relations: Provide general HR support, responding to employee inquiries about policies, benefits, and employment practices.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws. Assist in the preparation of reports such as EEO, AAP, and other regulatory filings.
  • HR Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and recommend solutions for improved efficiency and employee experience.
  • HR Systems: Utilize HR information systems (HRIS) and related software to manage data, track employee lifecycle events, and generate reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR operations or HR generalist roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, payroll, benefits, and employment laws.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday).
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
