Human Resources Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Open Systems Healthcare. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing the onboarding of all caregiving staff while ensuring compliance with our extensive list of policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credentialing: Collaborate with the team to ensure all caregivers are up-to-date on required credentials, including sending monthly reports, follow-up calls, and running reports.
- Training: Provide proper training to caregivers to deliver the highest level of care to our consumers, both upon hire and annually.
- Audits: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits of caregivers' personnel files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Onboarding: Compliantly hire external employees, conduct background checks, screen candidates, and follow internal and external policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail: You will have your hand in multiple pots, and skimping on details is not acceptable.
- Patient and professional: You will deal with diverse personalities and situations, requiring patience and a professional demeanor.
- Time management: Prioritize your schedule and accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
- Curiosity and empathy: Ask questions, seek solutions, and relate to caregivers' unique stories.
- Assertiveness: Occasionally, you will need to remind the sales team of the importance of compliance.
