Position Title: Accounting Manager

Role Summary: The Accounting Manager will be responsible for directing and overseeing our accounting staff, ensuring integrity and precision in all financial operations. Key responsibilities include strategic financial planning, meticulous budget management, and cultivating a cooperative atmosphere within the finance division.

Primary Duties of the Accounting Manager:

  • Effectively lead and manage the accounting team
  • Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing processes
  • Guarantee adherence to accounting regulations and internal policies
  • Establish and uphold financial procedures and internal controls
  • Encourage collaboration with other departments to align with organizational goals
  • Compile and present comprehensive financial reports to upper management

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • CPA certification is preferred
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential
