Job Overview

Position Summary

The Foreclosure Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting legal professionals by managing case files and facilitating communication with clients. This position involves the initial preparation of documentation for attorney evaluation, executing tasks within CaseAware and client systems, and addressing various responsibilities as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Drafting and preparing legal documents such as assignments, motions, affidavits, and other related materials.
  • Responding promptly and courteously to a high volume of email inquiries.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and business partners.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service to clients throughout all interactions.
  • Assisting attorneys in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Preparing and submitting status updates prior to scheduled hearings.
  • Providing timely updates to clients regarding their status and following up on outstanding documents or services.
  • Reviewing expired Notices of Default and liaising with clients to confirm the most current figures.
  • Monitoring for signed client declarations.
  • Filing client declarations with the appropriate court.

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with client management systems such as LPS, Tempo, and Vendorscape is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with borrowers, clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is required.
  • High proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Competence in conducting internet research.
  • A solid understanding of the legal processes related to foreclosure is preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The physical requirements for this role include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while using a computer.
