Director of Human Resources

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to join our team at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) as the Director of Human Resources for the National Tennis Center (NTC). This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in shaping the HR function and driving business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the USTA's business objectives.
- Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, and payroll, for the NTC.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the USTA's mission and values.
- Manage and develop a high-performing HR team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to the HR team.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure HR processes and procedures are effective and efficient.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Manage the HR budget, ensuring effective use of resources and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Management.
- 6+ years of HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- SHRM certification and experience with HRIS systems, such as ADP and ICIMS.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
