About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team at Clearwater Living. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the rental sales of all community apartments, staying up-to-date with current market trends and competitors, managing all leads, and building strong relationships with outside referral sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rental Sales and Budget Management: Responsible for all community rentals sales and maintaining budgeted occupancy and revenue by generating the number of qualified inquiries, referrals, tours, and closing rates required.
  • Community Readiness: Conduct daily property walk-throughs to ensure the community is ready for guests.
  • Move-In Process: Facilitate the entire move-in process, from generating leads to conducting and coordinating tours, through qualification and final move-in.
  • Pre-Call Planning: Develop a pre-call plan for presentations and a strategy to advance the lead to sale.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work in collaboration with the Executive Director and other leadership teams to ensure that all community associates understand sales and marketing and address any changes that are necessary.
  • Relationship Building: Identify, establish, and maintain positive relationships with industry influencers, key community, and strategic partners to assure ongoing referrals and continued opportunities.
  • Internal Events: Plan and conduct internal events to showcase our communities, including local market area events.
  • Referral Database: Maintain a referral database with all contact information and communication details and statuses.
  • Sales and Marketing Planning: Create, update, and manage quarterly Sales and Marketing Plan in collaboration with the Executive Director.
  • Annual Budgeting: Develop annual operating budgets and execute the Annual Sales and Marketing Plan, including short- and long-range goals.
  • Market Research: Collect and evaluate current market research to understand trends and competition, and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field, or a combination of education and sales experience in a senior living, hospitality, or related industry.
  • Experience: Minimum three to five years of successful sales experience in a senior living, hospitality, or related industry.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certification/CPR/BLS preferred.
  • Background Clearances: Background clearances as required by government regulations.
  • Health Requirements: Must meet health requirements, including TB.
