Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in identifying and engaging potential candidates for various positions within Aveanna Healthcare.

This role involves collaborating with department leaders to assess staffing requirements, sourcing qualified individuals to fill vacancies, and conducting preliminary assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.



Work Arrangement
This position may offer remote or hybrid options; however, candidates should be prepared to travel within the state of PA as needed.

Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Operations Manager.

Job Classification: Exempt

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and refresh job postings to address staffing needs across designated regions.
  • Evaluate candidates against established qualifications based on state and local regulations; collaborate with site teams to ensure a steady flow of applicants.
  • Leverage digital platforms to identify and attract potential candidates.
  • Meet and exceed established targets related to candidate sourcing for assigned areas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers to foster collaboration and trust.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, continuously assessing various recruitment channels for optimal outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing support for the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Promote a collaborative and communicative atmosphere among locations to enhance caregiver utilization.
  • Identify and support process improvement initiatives to streamline sourcing, recruitment, job offers, and onboarding of qualified candidates in line with employment standards.
  • Analyze and utilize data to identify sourcing trends.
  • Identify challenges and propose enhancements to improve system and workflow efficiencies.
  • Foster a positive and communicative environment within the sourcing team to maximize caregiver candidate utilization.
  • Participate in departmental meetings as needed, offering insights and suggestions as required.

Essential Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience in high-volume recruitment or sourcing, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated urgency in communication with team members, hiring managers, and candidates.
  • Ability to apply both logical and creative problem-solving skills to assist hiring managers and candidates.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time role, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.

Travel Requirements
Occasional travel may be necessary.
