Key Responsibilities:- Deliver customer support and service during field operations.
- Oversee and implement all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities.
- Identify and resolve technical issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Conduct technical training sessions on our product offerings.
- Drive part sales through effective training and product reviews.
- Understand customer needs and provide suitable recommendations.
- Document field modifications and processes to support future product enhancements and service needs.
- Determine service requirements and procure necessary components to fulfill service requests.
- Generate detailed service reports and updates in the service management system.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products offered by the company and its suppliers.
- Foster positive relationships with clients.
- Engage in projects aimed at improving product offerings and company growth.
- Efficiently manage travel schedules and expense reporting.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience as a technician or equivalent mechanical skills; other pertinent experience will be considered.
- Experience in automotive or transit sectors is preferred.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and utilizing hand tools or other equipment.
- Able to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment effectively.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel extensively, including weekends and overnight stays.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and passport for international travel.
- Strong written communication skills, with attention to detail in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Excellent oral communication skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy in customer interactions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, with strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with ERP systems.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while adapting to changes quickly.
- Safety-conscious, adhering to all safety policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Possess a positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Commitment to punctuality and attendance standards to support team operations.
