We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to manage the acquisition of a diverse array of goods and services. This role is essential in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Acquire a broad spectrum of commodities and services.
- Establish and nurture supplier relationships focused on optimal quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing, including the negotiation of long-term partnership agreements.
- Operate within a Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) environment.
- Oversee the entire supply chain process, including need assessment, requisition validation, Request for Quotation (RFQ) procedures, negotiations, contract awards, and ongoing follow-up.

- Three to five years of experience in procurement.
- Background in the aerospace sector is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with MRP systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to read small print is essential.
- Work involves a combination of standing, walking, reaching, sitting, bending, and lifting.
