A Guest Experience Attendant serves as an on-call, event-based employee, acting as the primary point of contact for guests during their time at Chaifetz Arena. Responsibilities include ensuring a secure environment for our patrons and addressing all service requirements. Attendants may be assigned various roles, including usher, ticket checker, suite staff, golf cart operator, elevator attendant, wheelchair assistant, and security personnel.

This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $19.00.

Part-Time Benefits: 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions.

Evergreen Role: Applications are accepted continuously; there is no set deadline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all attendees.
  • Welcome guests and verify tickets as they enter the venue.
  • Ensure compliance with policies regarding outside food/beverages, cameras, bags, and other venue regulations.
  • Guide guests to their seats and provide directional assistance throughout the facility.
  • Monitor guest behavior and offer assistance as needed.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment at Chaifetz Arena.
  • Report any hazardous conditions or equipment to supervisory staff immediately.
  • Assist with crowd management as necessary.
  • Participate in emergency evacuation procedures by directing guests to exits.
  • Monitor emergency exits and assist guests with special requirements.
  • Adapt to various roles and locations based on event needs.
  • Distribute materials to guests as required for events.
  • Adhere to all event protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service support to both internal and external clients.
  • Embody the arena's commitment to exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
  • Clear and concise communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, remaining adaptable in various roles.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
