Position Overview

Gibson Hospitality Ventures, Inc. is pleased to present an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Corporate Accountant to contribute to our esteemed organization. This position encompasses a variety of professional accounting responsibilities, including the compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial information. The Senior Corporate Accountant is essential in overseeing the daily accounting operations related to asset management, ensuring precision and thoroughness in all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries while generating comprehensive trial balance reports.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation for the general ledger and facilitate the coordination of financial reports.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing internal procedures to support organizational growth.
  • Ensure accuracy in revenue and expense postings, and assist with month-end closing processes.
  • Monitor adjustments and meet critical month-end deadlines.
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
  • Prepare and report monthly tax filings and oversee compliance with accounting policies.
  • Participate in financial audits and assist in establishing internal controls.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operational interactions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in general accounting, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and financial accounting software.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
  • Self-driven team player with a positive demeanor.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field is advantageous.
