Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and motivated Senior Estimator to enhance our dynamic construction team. This role is crucial as you will lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects. If you possess a solid background in commercial and general construction estimating, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Estimator, your primary duties will include:
  1. Creating comprehensive cost estimates and budgets for construction initiatives, encompassing labor, materials, equipment, and services.
  2. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other relevant documents to generate accurate time, cost, and labor estimates.
  3. Overseeing pre-construction services, including design evaluations, constructability assessments, and value engineering.
  4. Engaging in project bidding and contractor selection processes to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality outcomes.
  5. Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure advantageous pricing and contractual terms.
  6. Collaborating with project management teams to track project costs and progress effectively.
  7. Providing cost-related advice and recommendations for cost-saving strategies to project stakeholders.
  8. Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in construction methodologies, materials, and technologies.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  1. A minimum of three years of experience in estimating within commercial and general construction sectors.
  2. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in managing and preparing construction project estimates and budgets.
  4. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, systems, and market dynamics.
  5. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  6. Proficient negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  7. Familiarity with estimating software and relevant computer applications.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  9. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet stringent deadlines.
  10. Professional certification in estimating or a related field is a plus.
