Role Summary
As a Production Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process for a specific range of products. You will plan, organize, and recommend strategies to ensure successful production in compliance with all specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize workflow and ensure team members understand their assigned tasks.
  • Provide product expertise and address operator inquiries.
  • Monitor team productivity and offer constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Resolve production-related issues.
  • Train new employees.
  • Promote high standards through personal example and ensure team members understand expected behaviors.
  • Encourage team participation.
  • Enforce company policies and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with relevant sources for repair issues.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Assess the condition of production equipment.
  • Collaborate positively with support functions to define relevant processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Understanding of machine controls and instrumentation.

Additional Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Capable of working in various positions for extended periods.
  • Must handle organic materials daily and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts.
  • Effective verbal communication skills in a moderate noise environment.

Work Schedule

  • 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours based on departmental needs.
