The Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services operates state-supported living centers that cater to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those who are medically fragile or exhibit behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
The RN Case Manager Supervisor will oversee complex nursing operations, focusing on the assessment, care, and integrated treatment of residents at the state-supported living centers.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning, organizing, and managing the daily activities of RN Case Managers in alignment with established policies and regulations.
- Setting long-term goals for nursing case management services and providing clinical guidance to staff.
- Monitoring performance indicators and conducting audits to ensure high-quality care.
- Facilitating effective communication among RN Case Managers and interdisciplinary teams.
- Utilizing data to identify trends and enhance nursing case management delivery.
- Developing training programs and providing mentorship to nursing staff.
- Participating in quality assurance reviews to refine nursing policies and procedures.
This position operates under the guidance of the Chief Nurse Executive or Nurse Operations Officer, allowing for significant autonomy and independent decision-making.

- In-depth knowledge of nursing standards, healthcare regulations, and community health principles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and managing patient care effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Experience in mentoring and training nursing staff.
