Position Title:
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Operations Supervisor

Level:
Senior Associate

The AML Operations Supervisor, also known as an AML Senior Investigator II, oversees a variety of AML functions, which may encompass investigations of suspicious activities, reporting of currency transactions, global sanctions assessments, enhanced due diligence, and other AML-related tasks.

This role involves close collaboration with AML Process Managers to execute essential functions. The supervisor is accountable for strategizing and executing processes associated with anti-money laundering and global sanction initiatives, as well as managing the workflow of AML analyses.

The AML Senior Investigator II is responsible for mentoring their team and providing training on AML processes to enhance knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Oversight: Supervise daily operations, manage workflow, and track performance metrics.
• Team Leadership: Develop, train, coach, and guide a team of investigators.
• Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations and offer ongoing coaching to team members.
• Reporting: Communicate potential findings to management promptly, both verbally and in writing.
• Evaluation: Conduct, review, and assess findings utilizing AML/KYC/CIP expertise.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in AML, providing guidance and support on AML-related matters and investigations.

Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Anti-Money Laundering within the financial services sector.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 4 years of experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) within the financial services industry.
• 2 years of experience in people management.
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.
• 1 year of experience in process management.
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification.
