We are seeking a Safety and Security Services (SSS) Utility Associate who will be responsible for executing the SSS Program under the guidance of the Supervisor. This role involves conducting regular patrols of the premises, providing relief staffing for the security gatehouse, and responding to non-emergency service requests. Additionally, this position may assist during emergency situations under the direct supervision of an Emergency Response Officer/Supervisor.

Compensation: $17.00+ Per Hour

Full Time

7pm-7am

How you will make an impact:
  • Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of the buildings and grounds.
  • Perform safety checks and inspections to support Life Safety and OSHA compliance.
  • Receive and respond to non-emergency service calls from dispatch and security via radio or telephone in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Assist in Community Emergencies, including but not limited to; fires, floods, severe weather, hazardous materials incidents, bomb threats, and evacuations.
  • Support searches for missing residents.
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence at the security gatehouse.
  • Create a positive initial impression of the community.
  • Welcome visitors with a friendly greeting and offer assistance as needed to all individuals entering the community.
What you will need:
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and responsiveness in interactions with residents, their families, staff, vendors, and each other.
  • Capability to document daily activities clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in safely operating Security vehicles.
  • Familiarity with computer systems.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
