looking for an experienced SENIOR HEAVY CIVIL PROJECT SUPERVISOR.

Key Responsibilities:
The
Project Supervisor oversees the activities of personnel involved in construction and maintenance projects. This role is crucial for ensuring adherence to the company's standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Analyzes contract specifications and project scope to formulate an execution strategy for construction and maintenance, considering start and completion timelines, staffing needs for each project phase, and the availability of engineering plans, materials, equipment, and schedule timelines.


Primary Duties:

  • Maintains a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Gathers the project team (supervisory, administrative, engineering, and other personnel) at the project's inception.
  • Coordinates the procurement of tools and materials to ensure timely delivery in line with project schedules.
  • Collaborates with and directs supervisory staff and subcontractors in planning and executing project phases to meet deadlines.
  • Guides subordinate supervisory staff in executing the contract's scope of work.
  • Works with supervisory and engineering teams, inspectors, and suppliers to address issues and enhance construction/maintenance practices.
  • Reviews and oversees all ongoing work to ensure compliance with specifications and adherence to production timelines.
  • Compiles or receives reports from team members regarding productivity, progress, materials utilized, costs, and adjusts work schedules and execution plans accordingly.
  • May lead teams involved in significant maintenance or renovation projects for existing facilities, assigning workers based on project type, construction activity, and required skill sets.
  • Establishes and manages the methods, processes, and timelines for executing the work scope.
  • Performs any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Supervisor in Heavy Civil Construction.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all construction aspects, including on-site inspections, verification of compliance with contract documents, scheduling, budget management, progress reporting, and project completion.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage team members and subcontractors while providing administrative support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ability to interface with clients and promptly resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Commitment to maintaining strict safety protocols and procedures.
