POSITION SUMMARY

The Office of Clinical Education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a highly qualified and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Program Coordinator (Credentialing). This role will provide administrative and operational support to the DO Student Body, the Office of Clinical Education, and all related partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage student and clinical faculty credentials, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and institutional requirements.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, faculty, affiliate partners, and external stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Liaise with the Student and Resident Medical Records Office to ensure seamless credentialing processes for third and fourth-year students.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure all credentials are up-to-date and meet institutional and partner accreditation standards.
  • Create and implement procedures for submitting credentialing packets to partners, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Anticipate and proactively plan for submission of all core and elective credentials for students.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • Five years of progressive experience in lieu of education will be considered.
  • A minimum of three years' experience as an administrative assistant in a fast-paced office, preferably in a college or university environment.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite of products is required.
  • Experience using Banner, E-Value, and Blackboard preferred.
