Job Overview

Harold Beck & Sons is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the municipal water/wastewater, power generation, and heavy industry markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue from existing customers and expand the customer base through prospect conversion.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and prospects, including site visits and demonstrations of Beck actuators.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry, and develop a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Applications team to develop and deliver sales and technical support materials, including product literature and training programs.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of industrial experience in technical sales, engineering, or applications, particularly in process equipment.
  • Knowledge of valves and actuators is preferred.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and lead conversations to understand and influence buying decisions.
  • Ability to travel % of the time, with a strong desire to develop and execute sales strategies in a fast-paced environment.
