About the Role

Momentum is seeking a highly skilled Contract Negotiator to join our team. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our portfolio companies in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to draft and negotiate commercial contracts that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, and accounting teams.
  • Provide expert advice on contract-related matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Work closely with our contract lifecycle management team to ensure seamless contract management processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Juris Doctor degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, with a minimum of 4 years in a holding company or start-up environment.
  • Strong drafting skills, with the ability to turn complex commercial concepts into contractual language.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels.
  • Self-starter with a flexible mindset, able to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong focus on detail, with a ability to balance attention to detail with a broader perspective.
  • Outstanding skills in MS Office suite, with experience in contract lifecycle management tools a plus.
