About the Job

At Danone North America, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Financial Benefits to join our Human Resources - Employee Benefits team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring our comprehensive and competitive benefits package engages employees in health and financial wellbeing.

This position will lead the administration of programs including the 401(k) and Pension plans, HSA Bank, FSA, Commuter, fitness reimbursement, and other health and wellbeing programs as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefit programs, with 10 years of experience collaborating with such programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops, implements, and manages benefit policies, systems, programs, and procedures.
  • Manages the day-to-day administration of assigned benefit programs, including vendor relationships and deploying meaningful communications to promote assigned programs.
  • Administers day-to-day operations of assigned programs for Union and Corporate workforce, serving as a Subject Matter Expert for all financial and tax-advantaged programs.
  • Evaluates and recommends the optimization of benefit programs, including methods, administrators, costs, fiscal implications, and tools.
  • Collaborates with vendors and consultants to analyze data and provide program experience tracking.
  • Reviews, reconciles, and approves benefit invoices for assigned programs.
  • Audits payroll and third-party administration reporting for accuracy, including employee contributions, company match, and loans.
  • Audits and reconciles annual nondiscrimination testing and annual True Up deposit.
  • Develops, designs, distributes, and presents benefits information for new hire orientations, open enrollment, and other informational sessions.
  • Coordinates and vendor-manages administrative processing, work methods, resource optimization, budget control, training, and development plans.
  • Responds to benefits inquiries, monitors eligibility status, and assists participants with submitting and monitoring issues.
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners on the implementation, processing, policy, budgeting, forecasting, communication, and compliance of assigned benefits programs.
  • Assists with developing and administering employee financial wellbeing programs, benefits fairs, and various events to support increased engagement.
  • Maintains knowledge of market and legislative benefits trends and evaluates costs/benefits to the company.
  • Ensures stakeholders adhere to all requirements of benefit compliance, including 401(k), 5500 filings, testing, audits, and more.
About You
  • You will have a Bachelor's degree.
  • You will have 10 years' experience collaborating with employee benefit programs.
  • You will have previous knowledge of Microsoft products, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • You will have a working knowledge of the standard principles of human resources benefits management.
  • You will have knowledge of employee benefits regulations, language, principles, and practices, and operating procedures.
  • You will have the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co-workers, administrative personnel, benefit vendors, and the public, including being sensitive to professional ethics, gender, cultural diversities, and disabilities.
What We Offer

Danone North America offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $120,000 to $172,000, commensurate with experience. We also offer a performance-based bonus and a strong benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401(k) Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options.
