Compliance Manager Group Benefits Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager Group Benefits to join our team at Western & Southern Financial Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance regulatory compliance and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Program Management: Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures for Group Benefits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Reporting: Manage regulatory reporting and oversee the Group Benefits business compliance with HIPAA and other privacy and data security laws.
- Compliance Guidance: Provide compliance guidance to business unit management and help resolve areas of noncompliance in a professional and effective manner.
- Policy Development: Develop and file policy forms in all states and the Interstate Insurance Compact for approval, as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work with internal and external partners on compliance and related matters, including audits of third-party business partners.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required), Advanced degree (Preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of insurance compliance experience, with a proven track record of leading projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, accurate, focused, and concise manner.
- Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and experience using electronic compliance programs (e.g., RegEd, Serengeti).
This role requires working in an office setting, with extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being able to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
