Position Overview

The individual will primarily serve as a trusted partner to clients, focusing on creating mutually beneficial outcomes that drive revenue growth for Thegradcafe. The ideal candidate will leverage their business insight to identify client needs and demonstrate how Thegradcafe can assist in achieving their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead internal teams to prepare and deliver tailored solutions based on client objectives.
  2. Utilize a consultative approach to develop and present customized sales strategies that align with the client's priorities.
  3. Manage day-to-day account operations, ensuring effective communication both internally and externally.
  4. Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within the client's organization, including teams in strategy, marketing, analytics, legal, and compliance.
  5. Quickly familiarize oneself with the client's industry landscape to effectively address their competitive needs.
  6. Engage in negotiations with the client's decision-makers to foster positive outcomes for both Thegradcafe and the client.
  7. Design a long-term success roadmap that enhances client satisfaction, growth, and trust, ultimately becoming a trusted advisor.
  8. Mentor and develop internal talent to ensure strong performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  1. Over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a preference for team management or leadership experience.
  2. Experience in client management or sales roles, including client-side, advertising solutions, direct marketing, or agency experience.
  3. A well-rounded marketer with expertise in key marketing areas such as strategy, analytics, media performance, and forecasting.
  4. Self-driven with the ability to identify new business opportunities and market gaps.
  5. Proficient in assessing client goals and formulating strategies that align with those objectives using Thegradcafe's comprehensive product offerings.
  6. Comfortable with a consultative sales approach and solution-oriented selling.
  7. Strong business acumen and strategic planning capabilities.
  8. Solid quantitative skills with a grasp of analytical tools and methodologies.
  9. Knowledgeable in marketing program design, execution, and evaluation.
  10. Exceptional negotiation abilities.
  11. Effective communicator across various organizational levels.
  12. A collaborative team player.
  13. Proven experience in sales and business development.
  14. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as sales management software.
  15. Bachelor's degree with a strong academic background preferred; MBA is a plus.
