Job Overview

Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri is seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist to enhance our team in a dynamic office environment. This role involves welcoming and assisting clients and visitors with professionalism and care.

The successful candidate will create a positive first impression, demonstrating exceptional communication and customer service skills. A solid understanding of administrative functions and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all incoming calls courteously, directing them to the appropriate personnel while ensuring timely message delivery.
  • Welcome visitors and guide them through the facility, ensuring they complete necessary confidentiality agreements.
  • Maintain and update the leave calendar and conference room schedules as directed by management.
  • Oversee office supply inventory, including organization and data entry for incoming and outgoing supplies.
  • Manage cash accounts by accurately monitoring transactions and maintaining balance.
  • Collaborate with the personnel clerk to assist with administrative tasks, including filing and data entry.
  • Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere by engaging positively with colleagues, clients, and visitors, while respecting diverse backgrounds and upholding patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively and positively influence the workplace. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Age Requirement: Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED is required. Experience in a child services program or residential setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in multi-line phone systems and effective oral communication skills are essential.
  • Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary.
  • Ability to accurately manage cash accounts and inventory supplies.
  • Strong organizational skills and familiarity with office equipment are important.

Valid driver's license is required.
