KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Process Lead within the MBU (Mini Business Unit), you will collaborate with MBU and various departmental teams to design and refine manufacturing processes aimed at enhancing business outcomes sustainably. Reporting to the MBU Lead, you will share responsibilities across all shifts and work closely with the Manufacturing Excellence Coordinator to ensure process standardization throughout the site. Your role will involve leveraging MBU hourly and salaried resources to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across functional areas, focusing on daily management, process-oriented problem-solving, warehouse reorganization, loss mitigation, standards development, and employee engagement. You will identify continuous improvement opportunities, initiate improvement activities, coordinate data analysis, manage training, oversee documentation, and track the implementation of improvement projects. This position will also rotate with the Shift Lead role across various shifts.
Responsibilities Include:
Partnering with the MBU Lead and Manufacturing Excellence Coordinator to foster a cultural shift that sustains continuous improvement efforts beyond mere process and project activities, promoting a lean operational framework. Assessing existing processes to pinpoint improvement opportunities, ensuring the development and execution of the plant's zero-loss strategy aimed at addressing all types of MBU losses. Prioritizing potential enhancements based on expected gains and required efforts. Collaborating with MBU and departmental teams to conduct loss analyses and support the creation and execution of a master plan, implementing systems and tools to tackle key losses within the MBU. Working alongside the Manufacturing Excellence Coordinator and other MBU teams to explore and deploy the latest continuous improvement methodologies and digital strategies. Assisting in the development of programs, standards, and training materials, while supporting their review to ensure ongoing improvement, accuracy, and effectiveness. Delivering training and coaching to MBU teams. Contributing to the enhancement of the overall operations value stream by engaging in and leading continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives. Education: Associate degree
Degree Field: Manufacturing/Management/Continuous Improvement/Engineering
Work Experience: 3+ years
Supervisory Experience: 1+ years
License/Certifications: Lean/Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification or equivalent
Related Work Experience: Experience in planning, organizing, and managing personnel in warehousing/material handling, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams. Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and training skills, along with attention to detail, problem analysis, effective time management, and multitasking abilities. Capability to communicate with diverse audiences, manage projects, maintain effective relationships, and demonstrate critical thinking.

Education: Bachelor's degree
Degree Field: Manufacturing/Lean Management/Engineering
Work Experience: 5+ years
Supervisory Experience: 3+ years
License/Certifications: Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or equivalent
Related Work Experience: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and MS Power BI. Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and training skills, along with attention to detail, problem analysis, effective time management, and multitasking abilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, install, or remove objects weighing between 10lbs-50lbs.
Capability to reach and grasp objects with hand-eye coordination.
Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Capacity to maintain static positions for extended periods.
Proficiency in machine dexterity and fine motor skills.
Ability to identify and distinguish colors and shades.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to receive and comprehend information through oral and written communication.
