Position OverviewAs the Senior Manager of Events, you will be responsible for overseeing our trade show initiatives, focusing on the planning, execution, and optimization of events across North America. This role offers an exciting opportunity to elevate our event presence and ensure that our activations are memorable and effective.
Your primary objective will be to enhance the visual and experiential quality of our booths while differentiating our messaging and positioning. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust pre-event strategies and effective follow-up processes to maximize our return on investment.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in managing large-scale events and a passion for creativity.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and lead a national team capable of executing numerous trade show events each quarter.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive trade show strategy aligned with our marketing objectives, including the selection of key industry events.
- Work in partnership with sales, marketing, and creative teams to establish event goals, messaging, and deliverables.
- Coordinate all aspects of event management, including booth design, logistics, vendor relationships, and on-site execution.
- Ensure effective communication and engagement strategies are in place before, during, and after events.
- Analyze event performance and collaborate with sales teams to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- 7-12 years of experience in event marketing and management.
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role with a focus on team development.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple events simultaneously.
- Experience in budget management and performance analysis.
- Proficient in marketing and sales technologies to facilitate event promotion and follow-up.
- Excellent negotiation skills with vendors and service providers.
- Creative mindset with a history of delivering successful event experiences.
- Willingness to travel frequently for events and site visits.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
