Position Summary
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our trade show initiatives, focusing on the planning, execution, and optimization of our presence at industry conferences across North America. Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and lead a talented team dedicated to executing a high volume of trade show events each quarter.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive trade show strategy that aligns with our marketing objectives and enhances brand visibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, to establish clear event goals, messaging, and deliverables.
- Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including booth design, materials management, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
- Implement effective pre-event and post-event engagement strategies to maximize attendee interaction and follow-up.
- Analyze event performance metrics to assess success and identify areas for improvement for future participation.
Qualifications
- 7-12 years of experience in event marketing, with a proven track record of managing large-scale trade shows.
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role, demonstrating strong team-building and people management skills.
- Exceptional project management abilities, capable of juggling multiple events simultaneously.
- Experience in budget management and performance analysis to drive strategic decisions.
- Proficient in utilizing marketing and sales tools to enhance event execution and follow-up.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on building relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Creative mindset with a history of developing unique and successful event experiences.
- Willingness to travel frequently for events and site visits.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
