Senior Product Strategy Manager

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Product Strategy Manager, you will be instrumental in steering the development and market success of our offerings. Your strategic foresight and leadership will be crucial throughout the product lifecycle, from conception to launch, while working in close collaboration with various stakeholders. Your capacity to engage and secure support from diverse parties, along with your technical expertise, will be vital in delivering top-tier products that propel business growth. Core responsibilities include:
- Comprehensive Product Oversight: Lead the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch. Cultivate a thorough understanding of customer requirements, market dynamics, and business objectives to inform product strategy and ensure effective execution.
- Roadmap Leadership: Define, prioritize, and oversee the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Integrate market feedback, user insights, and technical capabilities to create a compelling product vision.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to gain support for product initiatives. Work closely with customers, executives, sales teams, and partners to collect feedback and insights that influence product direction.
- Engineering Partnership: Collaborate with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans. Ensure that roadmap items are clearly defined, appropriately scoped, and delivered punctually.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive assessments, and user feedback collection to uncover market trends and opportunities. Leverage these insights to drive product innovation and differentiation.
- Release Coordination: Work with engineering, quality assurance, and other cross-functional teams to plan and execute product launches. Ensure timely delivery of products that meet established quality standards.
- Performance Evaluation: Establish and monitor key product performance metrics post-launch. Analyze user data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform ongoing product enhancements.
Essential Qualifications:
- Product Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years in successfully managing cloud security, fraud prevention, or bot security product development from inception to launch. Proficient in product management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven track record of building strong relationships and collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid technical foundation to communicate effectively with engineering teams, assess feasibility, and make informed decisions. Familiarity with bot detection and mitigation technologies, including exposure to machine learning.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Project Management Skills: Proven project management abilities to coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery. Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Web Security, or related fields.
- Industry Insight: Familiarity with Cloud Security/Bot Management and its specific challenges and opportunities.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile product development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in utilizing data and analytics to guide product decisions and measure success.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing) and/or Cloud/Web Security (CISSP, etc.) are advantageous.
