Senior Events Strategist for North America

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Events Manager to join Lenovo's North America International Sales Organization. This role is pivotal in utilizing data-driven insights to align event planning with the overarching company strategy and technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy Development:
Formulate and implement comprehensive event strategies, including logistics, registration processes, product displays, staffing requirements, booth design, security measures, and operational protocols, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and technological innovations.
Data-Driven Insights:
Leverage analytics to shape event strategies, monitor performance indicators, and report return on investment to stakeholders. Apply best practices to enhance future event engagement and effectiveness.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
Collaborate with North America segment marketing managers, ambassadors, sales leaders, and the global events team to refine the overall event strategy. Ensure alignment with broader corporate goals and innovations within the technology sector.
Financial Oversight:
Manage event budgets meticulously, ensuring cost-effective solutions while delivering high-quality outcomes. Utilize financial management tools to streamline payment processes and vendor relationships.
Effective Communication:
Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates through project management platforms and conducting regular status meetings. Facilitate seamless coordination among teams to achieve event objectives.
Innovative Event Design:
Create and execute virtual and hybrid customer experiences that utilize cutting-edge technology to engage and captivate audiences. Incorporate innovative strategies in event marketing and communications.
Cross-Functional Teamwork:
Ensure that teams from Intelligent Device Group (IDG), Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), and Solutions & Services Group are well-represented with products, content, and presentations to effectively demonstrate One Lenovo and drive business growth.
Training and Development:
Provide education to North America teams, including sales and executives, on event participation strategies to maximize engagement and attendance.
Qualifications
Essential:
5+ years of experience in marketing and event management, with a proven history of executing successful events. Willingness to travel as required to support event execution.

Influencing Skills:
Ability to influence stakeholders within a complex organizational structure, leveraging strong relationships and a commanding presence.
Project and Budget Management:
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with experience managing multiple projects and budgets concurrently.
Communication Skills:
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying event details clearly to diverse audiences.
Agency Experience:
Background in account management within a media or creative agency, or overseeing agency relationships from the client perspective.
Passion for Excellence:
Dedication to executing high-quality programs that engage Lenovo's partners and customers effectively.
