Nurse Residency Program

ChristianaCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Postpartum Nurse Residency Program. This 24-week preceptor-led clinical training program is designed to provide new RNs with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in Maternal Child nursing.
Program Highlights:
- Comprehensive clinical training on the Postpartum floors, including the Continuing Care Nursery
- Emphasis on both mother and newborn care, with a focus on education and support for families
- Preceptor-led training with experienced nurses who will guide and mentor you throughout the program
- Opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Requirements:
- Graduating from an accredited nursing school with a BSN preferred
- Less than 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Eligible for Delaware or Compact State licensure as a Registered Nurse
