Role Overview
As a Sales Manager for MICE, your responsibilities will include:
1. Responding to all inquiries promptly, within 24 hours.
2. Setting up appointments and conducting personal sales calls, telemarketing, and site inspections for both existing and prospective clients.

3. Engaging with decision-makers in our F&B outlets and participating in promotional activities.

4. Following up on lost business opportunities and communicating insights to your department head.
5. Negotiating with clients and preparing offers/contracts for individual and group business.
6. Monitoring the conversion rates within the Group Department.

7. Staying informed about market trends and sharing relevant information with the team to implement collective strategies.

8. Planning and organizing business trips to enhance brand visibility in key markets.
9. Attending international fairs and roadshows to foster and maintain strong relationships.
10. Regularly interacting with key clients, focusing on high-profile guests.
11. Maintaining an efficient customer database system (OPERA) to generate sales activity reports.

12. Keeping clients updated on the latest hotel developments and informing management of any changes in client profiles.

13. Identifying and targeting new customers and sales opportunities, and initiating action plans to secure new business.

14. Assisting the Credit Department in timely follow-ups on outstanding account balances.
15. Preparing for weekly Sales and Revenue meetings.
16. Building and nurturing relationships with all Accor Regional and Global Sales Offices.
17. Being knowledgeable about fire, health, safety, emergency, and security protocols within the hotel.

18. Keeping the Director of Sales informed of any issues or concerns to ensure timely corrective actions.

19. Adhering to the Department and Hotel's standard operating procedures (SOPs).
20. Ensuring the confidentiality of all departmental and hotel information.
21. Completing tasks, projects, and assignments as directed by the Director of Sales.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role, ideally within a premium hotel setting.
- A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Business Administration.
- Proficient in Opera and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with local culture and experience working in the region.
- Fluency in English is essential.
