Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our Same Day Surgery team at Baptist Health. As a Clinical Excellence Specialist, you will be responsible for providing holistic care to patients, coordinating with other disciplines, and exemplifying clinical excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care that honors the uniqueness of each individual.
  • C coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement nursing plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to patient care techs, LPNs, unit secretaries, and students.
Requirements
  • Current Kentucky Nursing license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing / Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Completion and maintenance of BLS.
  • ACLS within 3 months of hire.
  • PALS within 6 months of hire.
  • Successful completion of all competencies as identified on the departmental nurse competency grid.
