We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented graduate student to serve as an Academic Support Specialist - Graduate Assistant. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in teaching, academic support, and professional development.

Responsibilities:

As an Academic Support Specialist - Graduate Assistant, you will have the opportunity to participate in teaching activities under the supervision of experienced faculty members. Your responsibilities may include assisting with the preparation of teaching materials, holding office hours, grading assignments, proctoring examinations, or tutoring.

You will also work in a service capacity that will provide professional development and career advancement opportunities. Successful candidates will support departmental recruitment and retention efforts such as meeting with prospective students completing campus visits, creating materials for use on the website and social media sites, and attending recruitment events.

To be eligible for this position, you must be enrolled at Eastern Kentucky University.

Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $15,000 - $20,000 per year, commensurate with experience. The university also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
