About this Role

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to join the Bristol Myers Squibb team as a Medical Science Specialist, supporting the Cardiovascular franchise in the US market.

As a Medical Science Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region, meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.

You will also create demand for BMS medicines by articulating in a balanced manner the clinical and scientific rationale for use of products in appropriate patients, building and maintaining strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs.

**About the Team:**

You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, working closely with other Medical Science Specialists, Sales Representatives, and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating in a balanced manner the clinical and scientific rationale for use of products in appropriate patients.

**Required Qualifications & Experience:**

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
  • Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to help physicians best serve their patients.

**Salary:** $85,000 - $110,000 per year
