Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in emergency nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and identify patient needs, implementing appropriate interventions while considering department scope of service.
  • Delegate nursing care activities and provide supervision, establishing plans for delivery of care and ensuring that interventions resolve problems.
  • Maintain access to medication storage areas as required for job tasks, adhering to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is mandatory.
  • An Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's Degree preferred) is required.
  • Completion and maintenance of BLS certification is essential.
  • ACLS & PALS (or ENPC) should be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Preferred TNCC certification.
  • NIHSS certification should be completed within 3 months of hire.
