Clinical Excellence Nursing Professional

Baptist Health is a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork, and innovation. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member.
About the Role
This full-time position involves providing excellence in patient care while respecting human dignity and the uniqueness of every individual. You will be expected to perform various tasks as outlined by the scope of practice, including but not limited to:
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist patients with personal hygiene activities such as bathing, dental and oral care, hair, and nail care.
- Assistance with Bowel and Bladder Functions: Assist patients with bowel and bladder functions while maintaining their dignity.
- Specimen Collection and Transportation: Collect, label, and transport specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Housekeeping and Environment Maintenance: Maintain clean and tidy patient rooms/environments.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification or successful completion of the first year of a Nursing program with validation of a clinical rotation consistent with your level of education.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support certification, which must be obtained within three months of hire.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
