We are in search of a Systems Administrator to enhance our Production Services Reliability Engineering team.

In this position, you will contribute in the following ways:
  • Troubleshoot intricate system-level or application-related issues.
  • Assist in infrastructure planning, maintenance, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Conduct regular health assessments of both internal and cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure enterprise software remains current by actively reviewing advisories and software end-of-life notifications, alongside performing routine updates.
  • Analyze software vulnerability reports, triage, and address infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Engage in disaster recovery testing initiatives.
  • Manage software installation, uninstallation, and upgrade requests from application teams.
  • Automate processes utilizing Python, Ansible, and/or shell scripting.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about resolving complex system challenges and enhancing systems.
  • This individual should exhibit meticulous attention to detail, producing precise and accurate work.
To excel in this role, we are looking for:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4 - 6 years of relevant infrastructure experience; experience in the securities or financial services sector is advantageous.
  • 3-6 years of hands-on Systems/Network Support experience with robust technical troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Virtualization, and VMWare.
  • Experience with Ansible or other automation tools for infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with NFS, DNS, and TCP is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with other DevOps and CI/CD tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and/or container technologies is advantageous.
