Sales Director for National Accounts

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth of select national accounts, including Walmart, Sam's Club, Meijer, and regional partners. Your strategic thinking and experience in sales and account management will enable you to identify new business opportunities, develop effective strategies, and implement programs that lead to increased sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering profitable sales growth through collaboration with merchants, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing strategic plans
- Executing sales, marketing, and business strategies for assigned customers, actively promoting new products and building profitable partnerships
- Advancing brands by following established sales processes, promoting the value proposition of products, and developing sustainable-minded partnerships
- Conducting successful sales calls to generate increased business
- Actively listening to and responding to customer needs in a timely manner
- Developing trade plans aligned with budgetary guidelines and maintaining positive customer relationships
Requirements
- At least five years of sales experience, preferably in consumer products with Walmart & Sam's Club
- Proven experience in scaling a brand with omni-channel retailers and knowledge of syndicated data (SPINS)
- Proven account management experience with Walmart & Sam's Club, financial acumen skills, and ability to travel up to 50% within the continental United States
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Benefits and Compensation
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience. This remote position requires residence in Bentonville, AR.
