Position Overview:
Join a dedicated team as a Clinical Specialist in Allergy and Immunology. This full-time opportunity involves working collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Specialist, you will:
1. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking detailed medical histories and performing comprehensive physical examinations.
2. Develop, document, and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring effective follow-up for optimal patient outcomes.
3. Participate in daily patient rounds, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of care.
4. Prepare discharge summaries, manage prescriptions, and coordinate necessary referrals upon patient discharge.
5. Educate patients on essential post-discharge care instructions to promote recovery and well-being.

Patient Care Management:
Evaluate patients seeking treatment for allergy and immunology conditions, contribute to treatment strategies, and oversee the care of patients undergoing therapy. Provide necessary follow-up care as applicable.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Responsibilities:
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, and offer comprehensive patient education. Support patients and their families emotionally and psychologically throughout their healthcare journey.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid State of Oregon Registered Nurse license or Physician Assistant license.
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification in the state of Oregon.
- Recommended membership in a relevant professional organization.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in allergy and immunology or related fields.
