Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our administrative team at Management and Training Corporation. As a key member of our purchasing function, you will be responsible for processing purchase orders, evaluating bids, and selecting vendors to ensure the highest quality standards and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement and Contract Management: Review requisitions to determine vendor selection, evaluate bids, and place contracts.
  • Vendor Management: Ensure adherence to quality standards, delivery schedules, and contractual terms.
  • Order Tracking and Follow-up: Conduct follow-up on purchase orders past due with vendors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with Accounting and Property departments to ensure accuracy of pricing data.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (HSD/GED) and 1 year of experience in purchasing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in typing (40 words per minute) and computer skills, including ten-key by sight.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license in the state where the facility is located with an acceptable driving record.
