About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks seasoned and driven professionals who exhibit a rare combination of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and business insight to facilitate enterprise transformation with our partners and clients.

Collaboration and Strategy
You will collaborate with our AWS Partner Organization, AWS Professional Services, partners, clients, and various AWS teams to create and implement highly scalable and adaptable solutions that tackle business challenges faced by customers.

Customer Advocacy
As trusted advocates for our clients, the Strategic Partner Program assists organizations in grasping best practices surrounding advanced cloud solutions and how to transition or modernize existing workloads to the cloud.

Execution and Leadership
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading a complex and ambitious initiative to enhance our Partner Practice while elevating technical execution and delivery across various industries.

Coordination and Impact
Success in this role will necessitate coordination among numerous internal AWS teams and external AWS partners, with influence and visibility at the highest levels of the organization.

Prioritization and Judgment
You will be required to make prioritization decisions across the enterprise that demand both sharp business acumen and technical judgment, driving processes and execution objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training, and support teams to assist partners and clients in learning and utilizing AWS services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, and more.
- Lead and manage large-scale IT projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Define and deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and clients, including mapping business and technical requirements and guiding the delivery of technical solutions.

Engagement and Delivery
Engagements will involve working with clients and AWS partners to discover and align defined offerings and solutions to enhance business outcomes.

Feedback and Insights
Collaborate with AWS Global Specialty teams, partners, and service teams to communicate partner and customer needs and feedback, contributing to technology roadmaps that improve partner and customer capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work alongside peer leaders across AWS to develop cross-functional capabilities that enhance each other's roles when necessary.

Travel Requirements
Consultants will be required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience implementing AWS services in diverse distributed computing environments.
- Led cloud migration initiatives as an AWS customer or in a consulting capacity.
- Familiarity with the AWS partner ecosystem and knowledge of cloud computing technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Over 5 years of IT implementation experience.
- Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of large-scale business software.
- Strong understanding of government procurement and contracting processes.

Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position varies based on market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
