We are seeking individuals who:

  • Have a robust understanding of large-scale computing solutions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a systems or support engineer.
  • Enjoy refining existing technical skills while acquiring new ones to contribute significantly to in-depth architectural discussions.
  • Participate regularly in comprehensive education and design exercises to develop truly innovative solutions built on AWS.

A background of extensive technical expertise supporting clients in at least one of the following enterprise technology domains: Information System Security; AI/ML; infrastructure automation; cloud migration and deployment; application rationalization and modernization; full lifecycle enterprise Software Development; DevSecOps pipeline construction and management; storage and virtualization management.

An understanding of enterprise software development tools and methodologies, including typical enterprise application architectures and the capability to write basic scripted or compiled code.

This position necessitates that the selected candidate be a U.S. Citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Our Consultants collaborate with Federal Government clients locally, regionally, and potentially across the nation. As such, Consultants must be prepared to travel to client sites to deliver professional services as required (up to 25%).

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT implementation experience
  • Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical/architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
  • Experience integrating cloud services with on-premise technologies from major providers
  • Experience in automation through DevOps scripting (e.g., shell, python, ruby, powershell)
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
  • Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
  • Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3)
  • Experience implementing AWS services in various distributed computing environments

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is determined by various factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
